Teacher Lane Changes
The information below will assist you in applying for a lane change.

If you have questions about the lane change process for Teachers, please contact Janine Cummins at janine.cummins@spps.org or 651-767-8231.

Please Note:

  • Turn in information only when you have enough credits to make a lane change.
  • Lane change information needs to be in the form of original certificates or official transcripts (internet printouts or copies are not considered official).
  • Turn in lane change information with a Lane Change form that is obtainable on this web site.
  • Lane Change information should be sent to or dropped off at Human Resources, 3rd floor at 360 Colborne.
  • Semester credits are converted to quarter credits by taking the number of semester credits x 1.5 (e.g. 3 semester credits x 1.5 = 4.5 quarter credits)
  • For further information please read the document below titled Teacher Lane Change Information and Process
  • It is the responsibility of each employee to submit inservice/workshop certificates with the appropriate pre-approvals (if applicable) to Human Resources for Lane Change. PD Express does not report any information to Human Resources nor is any PD Express Transcript acceptable for lane change.
